Great restaurant! They have a platter that is off the chain! In other words, VERY GOOD! Of course the snitzel is a must. The potatoes are a must also. Always come hungry here, you will never be disappointed! Service is really nice. They were sweet with us and explained the menu and specials!
Great authentic German cuisine!
Traditional German restaurant in a small brewery Not tasteless, but not special
The food is very tasty and the service attentive and good ?? I can only recommend it. Always my pleasure
I had a starter and a main course, none of which was homemade. It tasted like ready meals. What a shame. It's cozy there and the waitress was nice too.
....top....
"Old World" feel in the middle of the city. Food is good and the staff is great.
I had a really unpleasant experience here. The service staff, who were already moderately friendly from the start, became really rude when I pointed out that the wrong food was being served to me. When ordering, I intentionally used the exact name from the memory card and also showed my wish with my finger. Instead of apologizing, I was just accused that it was my fault. I would not have made myself clear enough. In front of all the other guests, I was exposed and in an absolutely outrageous manner. I also had to pay for the food. (Which I finally did to shorten this very unpleasant situation in favor of my companion.) Oh yeah, and about the food itself: all of the food ordered was mediocre. Definitely not a shop that we can recommend.
Excellent food. Polite waiters.
2 words.....Green Sauce!! Spectacular German Food, I can’t believe the sauce is not all over Germany, it Should! They have a great drafted beer selection along with apple wine. The food is perfectly made and priced good for their quality, service was also very nice. ?❤️? Amazing Frankfurt Experience!!!!
Very good cuisine and large portions. Absolutely friendly staff. However, reservations should be made before visiting.
Great atmosphere, great service, super nice staff, great food. Great recommendation !!! @
Great and fast service. Tasty hearty food ?
Best meal we’ve had in Frankfurt! Do yourself a favor and get the sweet pancake for dessert- it is amazing!!
Great food and service. Helpful staff.
very authentic german, incredibly salty.
The best shweinehaxe ever!
Best schnitzel I ever had! Great service as well. Thanks :)
Top notch value for portions and service. Ask for outside seating, weather permitting
I had delicious roulades with red cabbage and potato dumplings. Very good cuisine is offered here. The friend who was there got a Trappist schnitzel with Trappist cheese and chips. Looked delicious and tasted good too. Can definitely recommend the Klosterhof.
Thank you , very high recommended , Thanks for cabianski
Great food with plenty of choice and lovely atmosphere
Great beer garden! This place was authentic and a diamond in the rough. I'm so happy I search on Yelp and found this gem. The best brat and sauerkraut I've ever tasted and I'm not the huge fan of sauerkraut... these were delicious! My fiancé ordered the schnitzel, which was a lot heavier but pretty good as well.
First stop of our Italy trip was in Frankfurt-am-Main. After a noon with drinks we had to find us a place to have proper dinner. Well, according to research and reviews we were sent to Klosterhof. Apparently the best place to have schnitzels. They also brew their own beer and the staff is friendly and helpful. We went there quite early to see if we could be seated without reservations and we were lucky that day (Monday), but do make reservations in advance because the place can be packed with locals!
Very tasty cuisine right in the center with a beer garden. We tried different schnitzel with fried potatoes, as well as a rump steak with herb butter. Must give the full 100 points. PRICE PERFORMANCE FITS The waiters in the monastery courtyard are very friendly and nice. Can only recommend the Klosterhof! A lot of regulars at lunchtime.
A good stop for German food and beer. The service was fine, except the bartender was a little impatient describing the beer they offered. The food was good and there was a lot of it. They only had their English menu online, so look ahead or have a phone with service to read it there
Great food and great service. The personal speak good english.
Great German restaurant very close to the financial district
EXTREMELY good! The place is cozy, the prices are ok, the food is awesome!
Really nice place, delicious food and staff just incredible! Hope to be back soon ❤️
Great place to enjoy local cuisine. We were lucky to get a table. This place is always packed and usually you either wait to get a table or do not get it at all.
Super friendly staff great food.
Sat outdoors due to COVID. Great schnitzel and local beer, friendly service and good vibe. About 20 euros. Highly Recommended.
Good typical German cuisine and very nice house beer. Friendly waitress who speaks English .. quiet terrace perfect for relaxing. We took a well-served pint for less than € 5. Sausage resembling herbal chipolatas accompanied by homemade sautéed potatoes and sauerkraut 13.5 € and a Milanese veal well served with a green sauce 16 €. Good value for money and very good in every way
Lovely restaurant with local dishes. Try their green sauce!
Great Shnitzels and beer
Nice place and very good service
Very delicious food, amazing housebeer and lovely restaurant staff. I paid 34.5 EUR for the meal in photos and it absolutely worth it! ? Definitely would come back again and again next time I am in Frankfurt.
Good restaurant.good food.
Loved this place
Good food and beer
An excellent restaurant in Frankfurt for German-style dining near Willy Brandt Platz. Excellent cuisine, very kind staff and affordable prices. One of the best options for eating German in Frankfurt ... Recommended.
Delicious, friendly staff
If you are strolling through the Frankfurt city center and looking for a german restaurant this might be a place for you. Things that makes this a great place: the english menu, friendly and english speaking staff, somewhat classic interior, local apple wein and the fact that this is a dog friendly place (a group of people with a dog was welcome for lunch here). They play soft music so it doesnt get awkward during the meal. It got quite busy around 1 pm. It is possible to make a reservation by phone. Unfortunately, the food did not exceed my expectations but was quite okay. I found the meet to be too dry for my taste.
Excellent traditional German Restaurant, 5 minutes walk from Main Railway Station. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Booking is recommended as it is quite small. Strongly recommended if you are in Frankfurt and you want to try local cuisine
A restaurant frequented by local residents rather than travelers. Staff members feel kind and professional. It was more delicious than the same price menu that I ate in other places during the trip. The interior decoration was good, too.
I've got Schnitzel and Haksen. Haksen is not on the menu. It's a special menu. It was a little over 20 euros. Just say it. Boiled pork feet are deep fried You can dip the sauce to suit your taste. The schnitzel is mushroom creamed and the sauce is delicious. The volume is big. It's just pork cutlet.
Amazing traditional German food in Frankfurt.
Crowded place with German food and some beer selection. Schnitzel is good.
Great!
